The Boom Boom Bus was ecstatic to be a part of the National Geographic Mississippi River Geotourism Program this past winter!
National Geographic and its partners are working with local organizations, businesses and residents to map the best travel experiences, stories and sites within the Mississippi River Corridor. The Boom Boom Bus was featured as a unique business that showcases our region’s unique character.
The geographic scope of the Mississippi River Geotourism Program includes the people and places from within one county of the River, as well as the 232 counties of the Mississippi Delta region in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Using the communities recommendations, National Geographic has produced an engaging website to promote travel to the region that celebrates and sustains what is most distinctive about the Mississippi River Corridor—its scenic landscapes, vibrant local communities, rich biological, cultural diversity and captivating history.
The Boom Boom Bus is the Quad-Cities much loved party bus! The buses allow 32 of your closest friends to experience the best that our region has to offer on both sides of the river. The QC has a great nightlife scene and traveling on the bus allows you to reach all of your destinations safely. The Boom Boom Bus is excited to be a part of the National Geographic’s ‘unique’ category!
