Jenna and Luke met during their sophomore year of college at Iowa State University. Along with their mutual love for the Cyclones, the two also share a love for traveling.

Jenna has a passion of her own, photography. So when the couple decided to take a trip to Europe, Luke, knew exactly how to capture the moment.  Luke hired a professional photographer to secretly capture the his proposal to Jenna!

“His caring heart is just one of Luke’s amazing qualities,” says Jenna.

Jenna and Luke used the classic old town trolley for their wedding, and decided to take a moment for themselves on their big day. Instead of going to cocktail hour, the couple took a quick trip from the church to the venue, alone, in the trolley. This allowed the newlyweds to soak in the eventful day together.

“We stood and looked out the back of the trolley, enjoying the moment, while getting smiles and honked at by every car driving by,” says Jenna.

Jenna’s advice for future brides would be to take a breath and really enjoy the moments of your wedding day.

“It can be very overwhelming having so many guests and exciting things going on the whole day just flies by,” says Jenna.

Jenna and Luke planned a honeymoon to Costa Rica for this past November, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to Hurricane Otto.

However, the couple planned a new honeymoon trip in April to go back and explore Italy together.
